Anti-Aging Exercise

According to the November issue of the Readers Digest, regular running may help prevent disability and early death from cancer, neurological disease, or infections. At the Stanford University School of Medicine, researchers tracked 1,000 runners and non runners over the age of 50. After 19 years, 34% of non runners had died, but only 15% of the runners had died.

This fact was presented in the December 2008 /January 2009 National Masters News. This periodical comes monthly (or bi-monthly on off season), and is a wealth of Masters running, and all ages of running, information. It is a great gift for that Masters runner in your family! Not only are there wonderful, informative articles written by runners, but also there are races and results listed from around the USA! My last issue was over 50 pages!
